Very easy to write what you wrote when you do not live the life they live, Carol Lee. I have noticed lots of people in Northamerica will show lots of love, and would defend to a really great extend, animals, while they will not do the same for, lets say, children or other fellow human beings. Really weird we are...

This is a lovely story, touching really. But while I am happy for the family, I have great difficulty with the issue of animal exploitation. It is hard for me to be happy for the family at the expense of the buffalo's destiny, which is to work hard until he can no longer do so, then probably be killed for meat. To say that I can live with this is to say that I value human life above those of other creatures, and I really do not believe so.
