If I bought 900 KW hours for $47.00 USD, how does that compare to the Bay Area electricity rates?

PGE is tier based, http://www.pge.com/res/understanding_bill/standard/page4.html so depending on how much electricity you use in one month, you’ll pay about $0.15/kwh. Doing the math, 900 kwh x 0.15 = $135.00 USD, three times the price of CX.
